Make Me Wanna Holler - The Rhythm of Resistance Live at Green Room 42
Make Me Wanna Holler is a sonic journey through the legacy of R&B and Hip Hop as engines of social change. This cabaret explores how these genres—born from struggle, joy, protest, and survival—have become vital vehicles for truth-telling in times of need and turmoil. Make Me Wanna Holler celebrates the beauty, the heartbreak, and the unshakable resilience found within our collective and universal struggle.
Through intimate original poetry, music, and a dynamic, biopic cast, the show weaves together music, memory, and movement to honor the artists who dared to speak, sing, and shout for freedom. This is not just a performance—it's a revolution set to a beat.
Chris Pinnella & The Big Band Project
Chris Pinnella & The Big Band Project is a high-energy, crowd-pleasing concert experience that brings the swagger of a classic big band roaring into the modern era. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Chris Pinnella (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and backed by the NYC-based Big Band Project, this 12-piece modern big band delivers a thrilling afternoon of music that connects instantly with audiences across generations.
The evening moves effortlessly from the timeless sophistication of Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jr., and Michael Bublé to bold, unexpected big band reimaginings of classic rock favorites. Live Jazz Nightly | Steak Frites Always | Lower East Side, NYC
In the best-worst location on the Lower East Side, Funny Bar is an open-late hideout with great steaks, the best french fries, the driest martinis, and at least three more menu items. There are solo piano sets early & late night, trios beyond and in between. We serve only steak frites, in two sizes and two distinct preparations — our “bar steak” is a bistro filet with bordelaise, our “big steak” is a bavette with a special seasoning and maitre’d butter. The bar steak comes with McDonalds-style French fries, a homemade mayonnaise, and Heinz-brand ketchup.
We also have a short yet sharp natural wine list provided by Louis Dressner Selections.
Chris Pinnella - The Tony Bennett Songbook
The Tony Bennett Songbook starring Chris Pinnella honors the music, artistry and enduring influence of Tony Bennett through a thoughtfully curated afternoon of his most iconic songs.
With a soaring, rich voice and classic stage presence, Chris Pinnella brings both reverence and vitality to Bennett’s catalog—delivering definitive interpretations of beloved standards including “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” “Because of You,” “Rags to Riches,” “The Good Life,” “Just in Time,” and more.
Backed by a stellar ensemble of musicians, this concert balances swinging up-tempo numbers with heartfelt ballads, creating a dynamic and engaging arc that resonates across generations. Rather than imitation, Pinnella channels the spirit of Bennett—his optimism, warmth, and musical sophistication—making this a fresh yet timeless concert experience.
